Looking Ahead To The Next 40 Years…
After more than 40 years of developing the best outdoor skincare products, we’ve learned a few things about people, business and sustainability. So let’s talk about a few things we’ve done recently to set up our company for the next 40 years.
As Dermatone celebrates its 42nd year as a company this September, we want to update everyone about what we’ve accomplished recently and what’s next. If you're familiar with Dermatone’s products you're aware that they are perfect for any outdoor adventure! They are sun protecting, reef safe, fragrance free, sweat & water resistant, long lasting, moisturizing, non-greasy, and more. Although, what you may not be aware of is that Dermatone has core company values that are just as crucial as producing quality products. Dermatone is a small business that is women owned, made in the USA, cruelty free, paraben free, and now Climate Neutral Certified. This company truly cares about the well-being of our employees, the health of our consumers, and our environmental impact equally.
Climate Neutral Certified
Dermatone is proud to announce that we are officially Climate Neutral Certified. Climate Neutral is a nonprofit organization working with brands and consumers to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions. The label, Climate Neutral Certified, is a trusted, independent standard for climate neutrality. It is earned by brands who measure, offset, and reduce the emissions from making and delivering products and services to customers.
Following the standards created by Climate Neutral, Dermatone will measure its carbon emissions annually, commit to a reduction plan, and begin investing in a combination of projects inside and outside its operations. Dermatone is committed to preserving the outdoor space to allow for many more years of outdoor adventures.
Woman Owned
Dermatone is a women-owned small business. Dermatone sees the talent women bring to the table and empowers women to continue to break through in the workforce. Dermatone supports women internally, and externally. Currently, there are more women employed at Dermatone, both in our ambassador program and among our regular employees. We will continue to create opportunities for women within the business and encourage others to do the same.
Made In The USA
All of Dermatone’s products are made in the USA. This ultimately means they are held to a standard to be of higher quality of the product itself and the manufacturing process. Dermatone believes in supporting the nation’s economy. By being made in the USA and boosting our country’s economy, in return it will create more jobs within our country.
Cruelty Free
Dermatone assures its customers that none of its products are tested on animals- except adventure junkies. We value acting ethically in all stages of our production, even the testing phase. We do not feel it is necessary to cause harm to any living being.
Paraben Free
There are no unnecessary preservative acids in any Dermatone products. This will eliminate any worry about causing health issues, allergies, sensitivities or imbalances. We believe these preservatives are too commonly used and are not necessary to produce a quality product. We truly care about the health of our customers.
